2022 Summer Academy Schedule is TBD: Below is an example.
ARRIVAL (July 5th) & DEPARTURE (July 27th)
Players fly in and out of Washington Dulles International Airport (IAD). Global Squad will provide a shuttle bus service to and from IAD airport throughout the day. Players that use other airports will not have access to the GS shuttle bus available. Players are also welcome to arrive on their own by car.
EVALUATIONS (July 6th) & EXIT INTERVIEWS (July 26th)
Players go through an athletic evaluation and skill testing. Our objective is to learn about the strengths & weaknesses of each player. The exit interviews will allow our coaches to convey our evaluation of each athletes current skill level and potential. Players and coaches will create a roadmap for ongoing improvement.
DAILY TRAINING & PRACTICE (Weekly)
Intense training during the week prepares our players for competition and gets them ready for their upcoming season. Our objective is to give them tools so they can continue training at home.
COLLEGE CAMPUS VISITS & TOURS
Players will be able to take advantage of their time near Washington D.C. for tourism purposes. Global Squad will also visit college campuses so players get a feel for the process of applying and choosing a school.
NCAA TEAM CAMPS
Global Squad will participate in team events. These events are still in the process of being planned. They might entail college coaches coming to campus or the athletes attending college camps.
